The Hearing Devices Program enables persons who have a hearing impairment to obtain, have repaired or replace a hearing aid (device used to improve hearing) or an assistive listening device (used to compensate for a hearing impairment) free of charge.
Clientele Any person insured by the Québec health insurance plan who has a hearing impairment and is eligible for the program.

The sums necessary for the purchase, replacement and repair of hearing aids and assistive listening devices are reimbursed by the Régie directly to the hearing aid acoustician and the assistive listening device distributor who provides the aid or device.
