Curateur public du Québec
To draw up an inventory of the property of an incapacitated person of full age (see definitions), proceed in one of the following ways:
A copy of the inventory, whether by private writing before witnesses or by notarial deed, along with the required documents, must be sent to the secretary of the tutorship council and to the tutor to the person or the curator to the person, as applicable. It is recommended to send a copy of the inventory as well as an explanation of its content to the protected person.
A copy of all documents (for example, bank account statement, investment statement, or municipal tax bill) showing the protected person's debts and assets.
If in doubt about what document to enclose with the inventory, it is recommended to contact the Curateur public du Québec officer in charge of the protected person's file.
