Occupational Qualification Certificates for Regulated Trades
To enrol in a qualification program to obtain an occupational qualification certificate for a regulated trade, workers must:

Registration fees, for the January 1 to December 31, 2017 period, are $112 for all programs. Payment must be made by cheque or postal money order made out to the Minister of Finance.

RenewalDepending on the program, renewal fees may apply.
Workers may enrol in a qualification program for an occupational qualification certificate at any time.
Emploi-Québec usually responds to an application for registration in a program within 10 days.
The validity period of the qualification certificate varies according to the program. The worker must renew it to continue to do his or her job.
Documents required vary according to the programs and the worker’s situation, and may be:
Legible photocopies of the documents or certified true copy are accepted. However, in the case of a diploma issued by the Ministère de l’Éducation nationale of France, a certified true copy is required.
