Tutorship to a Minor | Curateur public du Québec

Producing a Final Report when the Administration of a Minor’s Tutorship Comes to an end

To produce a final report when the administration of a minor’s tutorship comes to an end,

  • complete the Final Report form, sent by the Curateur public du Québec
  • have the content of the form approved and signed, as applicable, by:
    • the minor who has reached the age of majority
    • the succession liquidator, if the minor has died,or
    • the new tutor appointed by the court, and
  • mail it to the Curateur public du Québec

A copy of the final report must be sent to the secretary of the tutorship council and, as the case may be, to one of the following people:

  • the minor who has reached the age of majority
  • the succession liquidator, if the minor has died
  • the new tutor appointed by the court and, in the latter case, to the minor, if he or she is 14 years or older, or
  • the dative tutor to the person

Note
If the final report is complicated, it is suggested that you use the services of an accountant or another qualified professional.
