Hydro-Québec’s residential customer services can be accessed directly online or by telephone.
Online To use the online services, it is necessary to set up a Personal Page on Hydro-Québec’s website and provide the required information.
By telephone To access services by telephone, it is necessary to call Hydro-Québec’s Services à la clientele résidentielle and provide the required information.
Change of address The charge for a change of address is $20 for a person who has been a Hydro-Québec customer in the last five years.
The charge for opening a new file is $50 for a person who has not been a Hydro-Québec customer in the last five years.
It is possible to register for the following services at any time:
To change an address or close an account, a person must notify Hydro-Québec as soon as his or her new address and postal code are known, or at least seven days before moving.
Information required for online services To set up a Personal Page on Hydro-Québec’s website, a person must have his or her customer number and bill number on hand. To go to his or her Personal Page, a person must enter his or her access code and password.
