Creditors or support payments
The person must have a personal bank account in a financial institution that a place of business in Canada.
The bank account must not be a joint account.
To apply to have support payment deposited directly in a bank account or to change a registration, proceed in one of the following ways:
A creditor with more than one support file must provide a single bank account number. All support payments will be deposited in that account.
Registering for direct deposit and changing a registration can be done at any time.
Allow for a period of 30 days for the processing of the application.
After tax-filing seasonMonday to Friday: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
During tax-filing seasonMonday to Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
