To submit an application to the Service administratif de rajustement des pensions alimentaires pour enfants(SARPA):
- Use the online Questionnaire on eligibility to use the SARPA in order to verify eligibility or fill out the Questionnaire on eligibility to use the SARPA; or
- Fill out the Application Form – Child Support Recalculation.
- Attach the documents requested and mail them to SARPA, or drop them off at the nearest legal aid office, where they will be forwarded to SARPA.
- Pay the required fees once the application is accepted.
If only one of the parents applied, SARPA will send a letter to the other parent in order to obtain the documents required to recalculate the support.
SARPA notifies the parents in writing of its recalculation of support and sends a copy of the notice to Revenu Québec and the office of the court in the district where the last support order was rendered.
