If you have a driver’s licence, you can use the Service québécois de changement d'adresse to make your change of address for your driver’s licence, registration certificate and disabled parking permit. When you receive your change of address confirmation, the confirmation must be kept with your driver's licence until your licence is renewed or a sticker must be placed on your licence, depending on the type of licence you hold.
A person holding a driver’s licence or a registration certificate must inform the Société de l'assurance automobile du Québec of any change of address.
The address to be given is that of the individual’s principal residence in Québec (or abroad if the individual has no principal residence in Québec).
A single change of address notice is sufficient for both the driver’s licence and the registration certificate. The change of address for the disabled parking permit is done separately if the individual does not have a driver’s licence.
The change of address is also sent to the Régie de l'assurance maladie du Québec, unless it was done through the portal of the Service québécois de changement d'adresse.
