To notify Revenu Québec of a change of address as a debtor or creditor of support, proceed in one of the following ways:
- Use the Service québécois de changement d’adresse, either online or with the help of a Services Québec information officer (by telephone or at a service counter).
- Use the online service Change Address.
- Fill out the Change of Address Form at the back of the leaflet Moving? Give us your new address as soon as possible, and mail it to the Direction du centre des relations avec la clientèle des pensions alimentaires at Revenu Québec.
- Call Revenu Québec’s Centre des relations avec la clientèle des pensions alimentaires and provide the necessary information.
The processing time will depend on how Revenu Québec is notified of your change of address.
Information Required
Depending on how they report their change of address, debtors or creditors will have to provide the following information:
- former and new addresses
- social insurance number
- date of birth
- the amount on line 199 of their income tax return for the last taxation year for which they received a notice of assessment
- support-payment file number
