- Obtain an audiogram (evaluation of the degree of hearing loss) and an attestation that the person needs a hearing device from an ear, nose and throat specialist or an audiologist; and
- Consult a hearing aid acoustician or an assistive listening devices distributor, depending on the type of aid needed, and provide the documents obtained previously.
