The Volunteer Program is intended to help those who are unable to complete their tax returns or whose income does not allow them to have this done by a professional. With the help of volunteers, community organizations offer free preparation sessions for Québec and Canada income tax returns. To find out whether you qualify for the program, go to a tax return presentation session. Be sure to have with you your tax information sheets, tax slips, receipts and any other relevant document. Sessions are usually held on the premises of community bodies that participate in the program. They are scheduled by them based on the needs in each region. Tax return presentation sessions are generally offered from February to April of each year. The program is administered jointly by Revenu Québec and the Canada Revenue Agency. Volunteers and Community Organizations Volunteers and community groups wishing to participate in the program can register through the website of Revenu Québec.
